thats funny lol seems like every week like clockwork i have to go bail my budys 5.0 out of some mechanical failer yesterday it was an alt failer, before that blown trans, before that striped starter gear,before that.... well i think you get the idea lol

So your buddies car defines over a decades worth of mustangs? Ive seen plenty of these with 200k miles...and they still run fine with basic maintenance.



There are 100k+ posts on this forum in the technical section...a good majority of them are people asking how to fix their 3gs...so does that mean the 3g is a piece of shit car?

my friends gt trans blew and then his engine went out after the chain went out....if you drive one you better have money to fix....but this applys to any car

not what im saying at all, all cars break. just seems like fords do it more lol. sorry my views wont change on them i have allways had bad luck with them even as a kid, normaly its electrical that goes bad on fords. but yeah thats my view and my opinion sorry lol

mark 2 escort rs1800 aka the bda
sierra cosworth and sierra cosworth rs500
and of course the later model rs cosworth escorts that replaced the sierra cosworth.
almost forgot the gt40
the pattern here is that all these cars are english fords.
the gt40 is sort of a ford and sort of not a ford
designed and built by lola in the uk, engines and $$$ by ford.
all because henry the 2nd got shitty at enzo ferrari for not selling out.

My dad's '95 Mustang GT has 275,000, and still runs great. Did have to put a trans in it at 186,000, but that's it. He had an '84 GT for 18 years before that. It had over 500,000 on it when it was totaled out. Was on it's second engine and trans. My uncle has a 2000 F150 that's about to hit 400,000 miles as well. No problems out of it either other then normal maintenance stuff.
