so my accord has been doing this since i put my intake on and i believe these to lines went to the air cleaner on the back of the mani. is there another spot for these? it makes this noise randomly and when you rev it and it drops to idle. the noise only happens for a couple of seconds but i want to fix it. and what does that other line go to. FPR?
thanks for any help

thats normal man... my 87 did that when i put the intake on it.... i just learned to live with it.. its annoying as hell but theres ways to silence it... as for the one you pointed at first i just kept the hose off of it.. doesnt do much... but what i did was i took off the little box from the stock filter box and i just plugged the hose from the iacv into the little box and just let it sit there.. its alot less noisy then having it out

yeah. i think i'll run them to the intake with silicone tubing from like autozone or something.

that would work also.. remember the fast idle is letting air into the intake.. might as well be clean air.. keep us posted man.. good luck

i hope the air is clean for the valve. its post filter.

but here my $7 idle valve fix.
Silicone hose from home depot. $3.42
Electrical Tape. Free for me (maybe $1.50)
Super Glue. Free for me (maybe $2.25)

I hot glued and super glued my own T-Fitting.
Then taped the whole thing to be black and match.
Drilled a hole in the intake 3/8" (the size of the silicone hose) the just hot glued that hose in there.
Done deal
