OK sorry for bothering you again, I just dont want to mess this up, because I dont have a lot of money to waste.

Inside the blinker on the bumper, I have taken out the orange lens, in the FAQ's it said to soak it in hot water, this piece is a piece of plastic that is solid orange.

If it will fade in hot water, how hot do I want the water, Boiling?

Should I heat up water on the stove just below boiling, stick the piece in and let it sit for a few hours?

The orange piece amplifies the light to make it brighter...

Get brighter bulbs :D
I ain't a chemist or materials engineer, but I don't think it'll fade even if you boil it for couple of years. Correct me if I'm wrong.

for whatever reason you want that orange piece to fade, youd get the same effect from just leaving it out. just get brighter bulbs (if you want) for that "racer" look

i just left it out too, and used some orange bulbs, they're bright as hell, i think i used an 1157 bulb which is a running light, the 1156 is a turn signal bulb, and i had to 'modify' the bulb a bit, but they're bright enough i can see orange on the street even with my H4 conversion headlights on bright...

yeah, thats another thing. its illegal to have white blinkers. You have to change the bulbs to yellow/orange if you take out the orange square, but thats only if you want to ~_^

The light is still bright enough without the orange piece in there even with the regular bulbs.
