found out a piece of useful info while mucking around at work rebuilding a starter.
it turns out that the starter i had in my si is off an a20a4
even has the same sm302 18 part number on it
just thought i'd share that with youse all

this is for a b20a which i have
my original starter is an auto one which also fits the manual box
was just by chance that i found that the a20a starter is the same, as afr as i figure, a sm302-18 is an sm302-18 is an .....
will try and post a pick later

i think manual & auto b20a starter motors are the same as auto a-series starter motors. manual a-series (i think this goes for the b18a too) starter motors wont fit though

edit: never mind lol

as promised here's the pics on those starters
the one on the left is the a20 starter and the right is the b20a starter
both are identical in every way so its all good
