Hey guys,

Close to buying a newer dd, so time to sell the accord.
I have a potential buyer lined up, just not sure how much to ask, feedback would be appreciated! I'm thinking about $1k?

1989 LX-I, 120k miles, I am the 3rd owner, car had 77k miles when I bought it 1 year ago.
-Clutch, axles/cv's, spark plugs/wires replaced at aprox 80k miles, radius arms, rear brakes and D.side window cont. box replaced aprox 103k miles.
-Timing belt was done by previous owner.
-New bfg traction t/a tires, hawk HP+ pads, brembo front rotors.
-All oil etc receipts available (oil/filter done every 7.5k miles with Blackstone Labs oil analysis available)
-Clean title, no accidents, but numerous dents, 2-3 small rust spots, and numerous bumper stickers.

If you're not under pressure to get rid of it, I'd start at like $1800 and prepare to take 12-1500. That's a clean car with not a lot of miles. How did you put 43k on it in a year though?

from that picture it looks pretty clean. If you really have done all that work I would also start at 1800 or even 2k. If you can, pick up a front fender molding from a junkyard to make the car look more complete and will help eliminate the "well this missing here so my offer is XXXX.XX"

Only $1,800, Joay? I could have sold my coupe with over 180k miles for over $2,000 here. But, yeah; I definitely agree with 88LXi68: fix up the car (the little things) before you sell it to give it that "complete" look. Minimize the haggling.

Thanks for the input guys, I appreciate it!...

(the big miles each year comes from the 66 mile daily round trip to the office, around more 8-9k miles from going to job sites, and the rest from just weekend driving/errands).
