Alright guys, I forgot my camera yesterday so I personally have no pics to post, but I know plenty of others do. Let's get some pics up.

I had a good time meeting up with you guys, seeing some old faces I haven't seen in years, meeting the newer members, and finally putting a face to the name with Carot. Great time guys. ...and thanks to Dave and his parents for opening their house up to all of us to hang out and for feeding us. We had some interesting adventures (fuel pump swap in a parking lot, and being 'who knows how late' to the festivities), but it just defines what we're all about.

Jimbo and his Oasis/Odyssey monster ripping through the twisties on the backroads was very fun to watch. Who ever said you couldn't road course or auto-x a minivan?

Sadly the B20A beat up on Vinny's rented Kia LOL. That was the highlight of my day seeing we never really made it into the track! But it was nice meeting new members and catching up with the old ones as usual.

HEY!

AHHHHHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHA The beast is ALIVE! Don't all rush out and ask for vids or pics, or anything as it's running like shit and still needs a new throttle cable. The carbs need to be sync'd. The jetting needs to be sorted out. The water temp gauge and sending unit needs to be connected (oops). I need to put an analog oil temp gauge in, and analog water temp gauge because both scare the bejesus out of me. Timing needs to be straightened out. Vacuum needs to be sorted. ..and it needs an exhaust at least past the downpipe (LOUD AS FAAK right now). Yeah, so there's still a laundry list of things that need to be done, but she did turn over, and was able to hold an idle. The cam is so lopey the entire car was shuddering, but she held a steady idle. The clutch cable pisses me off too. Once she gets a few more minutes on, the head bolts will need to be re-torqued too.

I don't think we had the strength for a group pic. Most of us drove a fair bit to the meet, then we didn't eat all day. So once we got to Dave's house it was sitting relaxing and enjoying some food.

You are so right that is it really hard to find any problems on his cars, for a car with this mileage and having been in Quebec, it is really in good shape. It cannot be compared to other Quebec's 3geez's that are mostly all already in cubic form after having suffered our winters... with a lot of them having a front strut tower popped to the hood!

It was nice to talk with you guys even if I am rarely here and with my spoken English suffering a lot. May be someday some of you will see my '89 Jetta Trophy when it will be all restored.

Steve's right. Up here, there are way too many vultures looking to get something for nothing, and reap the benefits of someone else's hard work and hard earned money. I'd be doing the same thing Steve does too. Since I woke up and saw nothing but an empty spot where I had parked the car that night (and that was at my house).

I'd say it's a safe bet to think that we could trust the guys on this site, but that means the pics are on the internet and open for any thieves to see.

Hey Mark, been good man. With work getting busy and extra curricular activities to keep myself sane, I have not looked much into the 3geez scene after getting rid of my Accord. The new one is treating me well.

LOL now thats funny. I bet when its time to change the oil, its up on jack stands with the oil dripping down into the dipstick channel via hose connected to a 5 quart oil jug......................... more like a recovering person with an IV fluid stuck to his arm.

Actually, I just take out the valve cover when doing an oil change. This once a year when I take it out of storage.

I just pour the oil over the rockers after I check the valve lash adjustment.

If I need to add some oil, it's done through the dipstick with a little funnel.
