and just installed a new alternator -_- old one shat out on the way home from looking at a free car ( i asked if it ran on the phone lady said it might be able to run.... get there its a striped frame with no engine , trans , interior, and part of the front clip cut off)

got a kuhmo extac or something like that and a nexen black horse 2, turns out the nexen is all rotted >< hopefully it lasts me a couple months lol they both have good tread. i got 205 60 15 as the 195s were stretched since there 7.5" rims. and they both pwn my bald to the wires 6 year old good years :lol:

so i got tired of looking at my chipped up grille , so i grabbed a can of paint from my room that had a black cap and failed to read the label, so i noticed as soon as i started painting that this paint was not black, far from actually, but i thought it looked kinda decent and finished anyway

so far put about $1200 in to it just replacing broken stuff. haven't had money to put in to anything else
but non replacement parts ive done
amber corners
clear bumper lights
neuspeed bar (scored for $25 at a junkyard)
painted trim and really thats about it lol...
kinda lame but making sure its reliable is more important
next thing to do is clutch, next appearance things to do are replace damaged panels, both bumpers, trunk lid,fender, get rims, and then paint and tint

basicly a few years ago i sold my metro let them barrow the money and my grandma bought me the 3gee and when i sold that i also let them barrow that money, so they said when they get another car ill get this one to pay that stuff off..

the 81 civic.. i gave the title to someone and they never did anything with it and its still sitting where i parked it in a field... i have a copy of the title and right now it doesn't need one as the dmv deleted it out of there system since it has not been registered in over 5 years. so i just have to go in and get taken care of but am waiting until i can go get it and make sure it has not been vandalized .

yeah seems to work fine and no codes, im just wondering if its ac related as my ac idle up doesn't seem to work... or it could of been from the power steering lines i removed but i dont remember if they had any contentions on them lol

Try repainting the headers again. But use a RED ScotchBrite pad. They work wonders for scuffing and giving the base metal a good surface to stick to. Have you tried adhesion promoter? I dunno if it comes in high temp but it should work. Good luck man, as always, I am a fan!

true i might give that a try!, i think when the weather gets better im going to try and focus on that rust spot as parts of it keep falling off and its spreading still >< really needs a new piece welded in but im not about to put that much money in to it when i could get a cleaner car for around the price of body work.

also going to replace the fuel filter soon and see if that helps with the bi-polar power issues

im pretty sure the cam belt timing is off, the previous owner had her bf do it so it wasn't done by a pro and the fact it pings like crazy on anything lower then 91 make me pretty sure the timing is off.. im scared to adjust it since when they did the cam belt they didnt replace the tensioner (SP) so im afraid thats going to break and i don't want to deal with taking the crank pully and all that off to replace it
