tranny swaps

just wondering if the EK1 & ES2 tranny's are swappable ? direct bolt up/same trans maybe ? my ek1 trans is starting to make some noises.

Negative. The bellhousing patterns are different, and the guts are completely different between the EK/EL trannys and the A-series ones.

Although after I make my B20A fit I will have an extra transmission available.

well I replaced my clutch today & I think it was a combination of a bad throwout bearing & low fluid causing the noise. well see :)
