Well this was a good idea until i overtightened and cracked one, but you get the idea, just need to make them a little bit taller is all. I have the euro turn signals so i don't want them becoming rock magnets. they are imposible to find here.
Pardon the bumper I hit something I think it was a big possum, need to finish repairing it. http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd158/lostforawhile/S4020073-3.jpg

maby it would look better with the bumper repainted? I do live in the land of the flat cat and the flying possum here, i've lost 4 original lenses to road kill, these lens are just not available here.

as a matter of fact that entire corner of the bumper is glassed back together, thats why i was fixing it, i hit one of those South georgia possum speed bumps about 70, size of a medium dog. cracked my windshield too

are you gonna make those for the headlights too, the taillights? the foglights? the windshield? just build a force field for the whole car while you're at it ;)

edit: oh and lost, i made sure my 1000th post was a good one! :) <3 you tim. i'm pretty sure that at one point i sent you 2 turn signal lights so just use those ROFL.

mine are the euro ones, the ones with the parking light built in, person on here sent me those from Poland. i've lost fog lights too, the headlights are actually easy i have a set of trims with clear lexan covers. Still need a right corner marker though, I had forgotten what cracked the windshield, hit one of those giant rats, busted the entire corner of the bumper cover, drivers side, broke out the corner marker passenger side and cracked the windshield.

How easy are the parking lights to set up?

How easy are the parking lights to set up?it's just an extra bulb in there with it's own housing and socket. you an wire it to anything that has power with the lights on.

i really just need another bumper cover fixed this one too many times. I need to get ahold of some members "over the pond" and get an extra set of these lights while they still exist. with the pop ups and the euro lamps they remind somewhat of early ferrarri front ends.

That's what I was thinking. It would only look right on a very bare bones race car. I'm thinking they'd look pretty good with the satin gunmetal I'm painting my car.

They look interesting for sure. Need pics of the whole thing installed!

Anyway, the bumper light look exactly like the one in 1g, non USDM of course:

i think it would look better if the lexan or whatever is used, is inset into the bumper. Basically not easily noticeable.

On the crazy side, maybe you could make some flip up grill guards.

well i'm adding flattening agent to my paint for the same look, so you never know, it already has the four lights like a rally car. this was a prototype, i may make them smaller and inset into the recessed area, they are very useful around here ,i had redone my bumper not too long ago, and you can see how much damage has been done just from driving. not to mention the dog size possum. after i get it done i've thought about getting some of that coating they put on radomes of airplanes, it's temporary and it protects against this kind of road rash.

Sounds like you need to fab up some bull (or possum?) bars for it. :D

I opened this one in hopes of reading how to not break the turn signal switch lever in the car... ;)

I think what i'll do is trace the shape of the turn signal hole out, then blow up the drawing just a bit on the copier, this will give a pattern that will just drop down in there part way.

right now working on the grill think eighties ferrarri grill, aluminum. pictures later actually i took the idea straight from a 383 which has the pop ups and the turn signals that look just like out the euro ones on our cars.
