Well, the name's Eric. I live in Portland. Been driving my '88 DX for almost a year now and I love it! Probably my favorite car I've owned thus far. I've owned the following cars:

1992 Toyota Corolla 5 speed
1990 Mazda MX5 5 speed
1994 " " B2300 5 peed OD
1994 Acura Legend Type 2 6-speed coupe
1986 Volvo 240 dl

And now of course my Accord. As you will probably guess, I'm a fan of manual transmissions ;)
I work on my cars, save big $$ and enjoy doing it! As far as professions I am a woodworker and musician.

I'm also into motorcycles... owned a few Ninja 250s and Now have a '91 ZX6.

Looking forward to... whatever may lie ahead here!

Oh, I almost forgot, a few pictures of the ol' girl.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Thought I'd throw in a shot of my other baby...

Here's the day I bought her. Running on 3 cylinders, leaking gas everywhere, lots of problems.

very nice..I'm almost embarrassed by my 3gee...which is why I've never posted pics...my paint is oxidized and looks like crap with one rust spot where the paint completely flaked off.

Uh, most cars as old as ours look like that...or worse.

mbiraguy: why does your '88 have an '86/'87 bumper?

Hatches didn't come with the facelift.

And to the OP, looks really mint! :D

Hatches didn't come with the facelift.

You've got to be joking.

You've got to be joking.they look better with the orange lights anyway except if you get the euro lights which only fit the hatch bumpers or early style bumpers.

they look better with the orange lights...

In your honest opinion. I prefer the facelift. Now that I know that; if I were ever to get a hatch, I would get the facelift bumper.
