I know there was a thread on this a while back, but I am to lazy to dig through and find it. So, how many miles do you put on your 3rd gen in a week? I put on close to 330 miles just going to school.

Anywhere between 400 and 1000. Depends on the jobs i need to go to.

I usually get 35mpg (possibly more on the freeway). All with good driving, shifting at 2500rpm's, accelerating and braking slow.

yeah you guys suck. On the average Im lucky to keep it under 600 a week. I never thought Id have to drive this much for work. I put the rest of my miles on a motorcycle or a different car as my hatch is a work car only. When i was driving my supercoupe I was averaging $40 a day in gas. Man that sucked. My accord is about a tank and a half a week at $35-$40 each tank

I put like $20-30 in my car every two weeks or so, depending.

I will drive more if I going out to lunch and things like that.

I can shift around 2500rpm, but people piss me off.

I have a 2 mile commute to work, but I still put on about 300-350 a week. I don't get much more than 17mpg cuz I got a weber and a reallllly heavy foot! I could probably squeeze about 26-7 outta it, but it's pretty damn fun to get on it.

My aunt averages about twelve miles per week. She drives less than a mile to and from "work" (bus depot, then a good 40 miles to work).

Id say around 400-450 miles a week, split between my ~29mpg sable highway, and I dunno what the hell my Scirocco gets at the moment- probably not great until I get everything worked out on it lol.

I only have to drive about 70 miles a week but I usually put up around 175-200. I can't stand to not drive around at least once in every couple days.

I estimate about 33mpg!

Right around 70-100 miles a week. I have a four mile drive to work and just running around on the weekends. I get around 23-27 mpg with my Weber, all city driving.

Maybe 30 or 40 miles on the weekend.

I pedal my '96 GT Interceptor to work on the weekdays, lol.

120 miles a week if I catch the train into the city.
12 miles in each direction to and from the station.
If I drive into San Francisco it's about 330 miles + bridge tolls at $4.00 each way

when school was in session and i was going to pomona once a week, it was ~430 miles/week. since school has been out, dropped to more like 180/week if i only go to work lol. when school starts again next week, it'll go back up to probably around 330/week. but i've been going other places too (e.g. drove up to see space shuttle land friday = ~150 miles) that i wouldn't do during normal week.

and i guess my mileage sucks. i've been keeping track practically since i bought the car: average is at 29 mpg, highest was 34 lowest was 22. but i must say, vast improvement from old accord, was averaging 20 lol.

used to do this until i recently graduated

school to work 18 miles one way = 36mi a day = 108 miles a week for work
school to home every weekend and back = 160 miles

i averaged around 260-270 miles a week and was getting less than 25mpg due to the dead auto trans.

bought the car with 132k on it, 3 years ago, now im at 175k

now i probably put 120 miles a week on it

And from reading some of your posts, you guys need to drive your cars more!

Not too many for me..... I barely drive my 3G anymore :( Usually once a week at the very most, but sometimes it'll sit in the driveway for 2-3 weeks without being driven. And when I do drive it it's usually either to get groceries or take the dog somewhere.

The weekend before last though I did drive it 6 hours roundtrip towing my trailer, Asheville, NC to Atlanta, GA and back. A/C blasting and towing empty trailer got 29.3 MPG going out there, then dropped down to 23 on the way back fully loaded trailer and A/C going. Turned 393k miles on the way back though :)

I went to Eugene (150 miles away) Sunday and traveled 335 miles on 3/4 a tank. The next day I put 10.64 gallons in it to fill it. 31 MPG running an 88LXI Long block with a Weber, running plus, and I wasn't trying to get good gas milage! Every on-ramp I was WOT to 5g till 80mph, and I cruised most the way at 74-76.

I'm pretty dang thrilled.

Oh! Maybe it's this Oregon gas! MUCH better than that crap California gas.

I am creeping up on 170k. I went down to NE Philly this weekend plus my weekly commute so that is 550 miles all together.

110 Miles / week to & from work

plus whatever other driving I do picking up and fixing computers in my spare time, going to the dog park, shopping with the wife, going out...

Probably closer to 250 / week

I average 1 full tank every 1.5 or 2 weeks

30-100 miles a week on my 5th gen depending on what is going on and if i go home for lunches from work (liveing a mile from work is so nice). i normaly put 20-25 bucks in gas in my car every 2 weeks. still havent dont a true mpg test though

I do ~550ish a week. I range from 30-33 mpg on average. Makes me miss my old Civic hatch (41mpg avg) but that car had no options at all. I'd rather cut my mpg than lose amenities, hehe.

The BMW is to expensive to drive everyday as it sucks up gas like no other. The 3gee is getting 30mpg :).

I can relate to that, lol. My V8 7 only got about 18 on the highway, 12 around town. Thirsty SOB. I shudder to think what the 12 cyl version will get.

I usually drive around 500 miles a week. Though not in my 3gee, haven't gotten that on the road yet. That mileage is split between my '89 1500 Chevy pickup and my '72 Ford Maverick.

My uncle drives around 1300 miles a week, and has been since the late 80's. He lives in Murphy, NC and commutes to Atlanta and back 5 days a week. He has 412,000 miles on his 2001 F150 last I heard and it's still going strong. Before that he had a little Nissan pickup that made it to 260,000. Ironically, the only Honda he's had (an '84 Accord sedan) only made it to 135,000 when it overheated severely in Atlanta traffic one day, resulting in a cracked head, and it sat around for several years before he had it crushed when scrap prices were up last year.. Wish I would have got it now.

I drive 125-150 miles in a typical week. That's mostly just my commute - I don't get out for recreational drives nearly as often as I used to. I think that needs to change! =)
