I never thought I'd be saying this or doing this, but I think it's time to sell my beloved 3g. I didn't want to do this but I hate to see it sit. I'm not driving it anymore because it needs a Water Pump and I got a newer car. I'm a college student and cannot afford to keep up two cars. I'd rather the car be driven by somebody than sit like it is now.

If you're not familiar with my car, its a '89 Accord LX. My parents were the original owners and anything you would need to know as a buyer, we would be able to answer. I drove the car for 4 years and did a lot of mods to it, repaired a lot of things, grew very attached to it. I took great care of the car and always get compliments on how clean it is. I've had several people approach me wanting to buy the car while I was randomly filling it up with gas.

I'd like to see it go to someone that will take great care of it and will not abuse it.

Just some info on it:

Engine:
Original Motor, Original Tranny (no grinds, every gear works, shifts like new)

-Tokico's have about 20,000 miles on them, the KYB's have about 10,000.

Audio:
Sony Equalizer
Polk front speakers
Kenwood 5x9's in the rear(sounds really good)
*Right now there is a Panasonic CD deck in it. I might take it out if no interest is shown in the car
*Wired for an amp and subwoofer. I had 2 12" MTX subs in the back that I took out. If the buyer would like those, i may include them in the sale

What the car needs:

Water Pump. It started to make the typical metallic grinding noise that water pumps make when the bearings go bad. I drove it like this for about a month until I got my new car. I noticed that the coolant level is low, and noticed then that the water pump leaks.

Passenger Side Inner Tie rod end boot. Also leaks.

Rear tires. The car could use two new tires on the rear. I rotated the tires to stop the wear earlier this year, but I would not feel comfortable driving more than 2,000 more miles on the rear tires.

Otherwise, the car is still very driveable. I refuse to drive it with a leaking water pump but before it started to leak, I drove the car 400 miles to New York with no problems.

Other minor problems:

Rust on drivers side rear quarter. Not that bad, and not even noticeable unless I point it out.

Dent on drivers side rear door
