ok it took me all day 5 pm till 4 am 2 smashed fingers and a trip to vets offic (lowrider wieener dogs are very sneaky) don't ask but my 18 ls turbo now lives in my 89 lxi 5 speed gsr tranny is in all i need is wiring and axles i made all mounts i am a fabracator 4 a living and own my ow shop so i chouldnt buy a kit right? o well thats all im getting friend to scan pics so soon i hope

Yeah, those are not that hard to do if you're good with your hands..

What's a little more complicated is axle fabrication.

so how much are ya gona charge me for some mounts for a b-18c1:deal: I want 2 do the swap but dont want to spend 600 bucks for mounts .

well i made brakets 4 the stock teg monts most of them welded the brackets to car so i cant sell a "kit" sorry im use ing teg inner cvs and 3gs oter and a freind of mine kimes is makin the connecting porsion. i am troughingin a curve now im swithching head on b18a to a 1.6 vtec and suciding back doors so the time i get it done hopefully. 4 hot import nights in flordia on the 19th but i got a shop to run a kid and wife so i might have to trailer it and push it off to show i will have my h22 turbo civic out in pimperific fashion though.

teg axles ? 2gen teg ?

thats what ive been trying to figure out. i know 2gen axles are the right length, but i wasnt sure about them fitting in the hub. but the outer accord housing fit over the teg joints without any play in it ?

so u have solid mounts then ?
how does that feel. does it put a lot of vibration in the cab ?

well i pulled apart the joint took oout the clip and slid out the splined part on each end the trans is 94 teg so my boy could measure the dia. and spline count and i msured the lenth so hes fabing up some soild bars from 4132 cromoly i think thats the humber he was using they should be done by sat. so ill get his exact measure ments then.

infliktion: props for not being forced to decide between EFI and carb buildup routes. I wish I had another 3g... *sigh*

im not exactly sure were west cester is,but im half ay betwen pittsurg and erie pa. Just across the pa/ohio border my shop is in boardan ohio (sub. of yuntown OH)
