Accords at the auto-x Vid/pics

[Ju_S12_Turbo]

Here is me, Strugglebucket and Vindicted_Reprise. Vinces (Vindicted) accord was missing a lot of it's trim and stuff because he is taking care of his rust problems but he has a really clean car, oh and his car is stock. My car just has some mis match coilovers (Maxspeed up front, ebay in the rear) that I got for 20$ on craigs, oh and you can see how I have no rear struts in the video lol.

Any 3G or 2G looks right at home in a sea of pylons, but dear God that 2G needs to take something for all that body roll.

Were those your raw times or pax? How did your raw and/or pax compare to the rest of the field?

hahaha, Poor 2g looks like it's about to pull an suv-style rollover at every turn. Yeah 2geez are soft, but they do ride oh so nice:cool:. And it doesn't take much to make a 2g handle, even just a good set of tires.

I must say, I was envious of Strugglebucket set up. For once I would like to race something that has been set up for racing. His car looked super good through the turns.

Woah WTH, how come I've never seen this car before? Sweet to see my car's twin out there at the track. That's a pretty clean whip... Weird that it has the blue window frames though. Would look loads better painted black... ;)

Body roll is just a trait of these things. It's what happens when you've got that tiny ass front swaybar and no rear swaybar. Hell even with the Koni's and Eibachs mine still rolls like a bitch.

haha it was great, but it is only a +1 and one of them was a pointer cone so it was only a +2 overall. But I love what you did with the pic lol.

That's odd to see how different clubs have different pylon rules. Here with our two clubs in CT, any pylon knocked from it's original location is a +2 second penalty.

Yeah though, that action shot is pretty cool with it still airborne.

I've seen one detonate a bumper on an evo. He slammed into a couple head on, and it was about 30 something degrees outside. They found pieces of bumper a good 100 feet from his car.

ouch. Yeah I've never really seen any damage from a cone/pylon. ...the worst I've ever had happen to me is with the Z, I gulped up a cone on a heavy lean and dragged it with one of my downpipes. Oh dayum did I stink the whole way home burning off that plastic/rubber mess.

Yessir lets see... I had to dodge something on the freeway and my brand-new headlight cover and my FET fog-light on my Z was shattered by a cone in a construction zone.

During a drifting event the rear quarter panel of my RX7 was dented by a cone.

I've seen cones get so wedged in peoples fenders they have to remove the wheel to get em out lol... People drive over cones and drag them everywhere. Its really funny to see em get caught under someones exhaust and start to melt. You gotta get a jack under the car usually to get it out. I still dunno if a cone will actually catch on fire though?

There's probably more cone-stories I'm forgetting... When I see a cone... I shake my fist at it. Cones suck.
