well tried 2 adjust my ignition timing today and it not go so if any can tell me a simple and easy 2 adjust my base timing and can some1 plz tell me why my radiator fan is always on and does that cause over cooling? if some1 can plz give me the info on how to fix all these problems i would really appreciate it

I'm really not sure what your asking. I wouldn't worry about over-cooling, but id check your fan switch. as for timing, check the faqs.

well guess i can check it out and do u no where da fan switch is located at?

Alright, sit down and take a few deep breaths. To adjust the timing, you need a timing light and the manual, available here (http://honda.roadpwnage.com/manuals/pages/usdm-accord-1989-full.php\). The timing section starts on p. 24-4. Follow the instructions and you'll be golden.

I believe the fan switch is on the bottom of the radiator, but there are other members here that know a lot more about that than I do.

do i need hand vacuum pump to do the timing adjustment as shown on page 24-5?
