so im new at the honda thing...but i know that ecus are big in the honda world. so what do i have to do to upgrade my ecu? is it expensive and is it worth the work? i seen a HONDATA S300 it diddnt say what it was for. but i wanted to know if it would work....im new at this so dont flame :) but i have heard of hondas revving at like 8000+ rpm with an ecu, how high can i make my a20 rev??

not sure, but i wouldn't push an a20 past 7k.. they dont really make any power after 5.5-6k without after market i/h/e + cam as it is.. so theres no point to a high reving a20 unless its been rebuilt from the ground up.

hondata is good for obd1 civic/integra ecus mostly.

google is yer friend.

so theres no point to a high reving a20 unless its been rebuilt from the ground up or you want to scare the kids that are standing around your car

Fixed. My exhaust rattle makes my coupe super loud (read: annoying) at high rpm's. :)

yeah you got to know how to tune a car...you got to tweak the hp out of the motor but you first have to upgrade to a obd1 distributor and obd1 ecu

you might as well change ecu's if you are going to upgrade, check into the obd1 conversions on the site. trying to upgrade the original ecu is like trying to plug a usb cable into a trs-80 computer. our computers would be at home on the fred flintstone mobile
