I have narrowed my cold weather choke problem down to a non functioning choke spring.
It functions properly when its warmer, opening the choke as it should, but does absolutely nothing when it unwinds that final bit in cold weather.
I had suspected a ground problem at the carb, but if that were the case I would have issues related to the cut-off solenoid as well I think.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows of a definitive way to test the thing.
I have several choke springs laying around to try.
