Hi Guys!!

Im going into lowering my car AGAIN!!!

I bought some cheap lowering springs for my ca5 on Ebay, this is a Daily driver car, and I also use to race it really often, wich means, that I really enjoyed my springs while they last.

The thing is that they are no longer working after 3 months of been installed on my car :(

The guy who helps me with my car told me that those springs might have been done for civicīs 88-00... wich weigths less than my ca5 chassis.

So basically, I am just wondering if I could get some real springs (tein, skunk2, tanabe, eibach) made for 4th gen accords into my 3gen CA5??... are they the same height??

I already read the sticky about springs and anti rolls... But that post talks about coilovers for civic 88-00 or Accord 90-97 fitting on ours 3Gīs, not springs, thats the reason on my questions

Thanks in advance guys!!!

Iīll post pics of my car @ La Guacima Race Track, Alajuela, Costa Rica in the 2nd Interclubes Race 2009, racing with hondaclubCR.

Springs are going to be too long. Keep searching there some good threads on what works and what doesn't.

Right now i have 93 accord front and rear springs (adjustable) on my hatch, but working with these cars for years 4dr,2dr coupe,hatch,2nd gen i noticed that the hatch front and rear shocks are shorter. so when i installed the 4g springs on the 3g hatch shocks they work like a dream. Comfortable ride no bottom out i love them.

Wow, an Accord among Civic's huh. Dayum.

Anyway, as for springs, I'd consider going the K-sport route at this point. They should keep you planted and more importantly they'll be paired properly with good shocks.

What shocks are you currently running?

Have you done the front brake upgrade to the 88-89 LX-i/SE-i yet? Rear disc to SE-i rears? What do you have for a rear anti-sway bar? Front? I'm so jealous to see your car out on a track representing for the 3G's, but so pissed to see it getting shpanked by the little EG's that are tearing ass around that track, and would love to see it the other way around... ...as in you knocking on their bumper to get out of your way. These A20's have ability to make a better tq curve than the little 1.6'ers out there, it just takes some work.
