Hey I'm Bart I'm from the netherlands
and I am 18 years old.

Bought a 86 Accord as my first car.
It's a 1.6 carb engine

Fully stock still. Need to get me some money before I can do stuff.

To do:
Get low ( problem is that I can't find parts for it, any civic or crx parts fit?)
new rims (might go for some wide steelies with a nice strech and poke)
exhaust ( modded original one or something reallu different)
trunk spoiler ( can't find any though :( )

I really like the forum, already read loads of things I didn't know of.
These cars are very rare in the netherlands, I've only seen one driving around once.

Hope you like it and hope to update on it as soon as possible

Whose Beetle? :D

Really, really clean man. I would be tempted to keep it the way it is and get another one to work on. :welcome:

haha beetle came driving in while I was taking pictures, happened to be parked in front of his garage XD

Yeah pictures make it seem clean but otherside has a dent in the door right under the trim.
and well rear panel has a dent.
There's a shit load of welding under the fuel cap. And lot's of places are sprayed over or fixed with a bit of paint.

Has 158xxx km on it and it only was 990 euro's

and getting an other one to work on is gonna be hard as hell, this was the only one I came across

yeah welcome to the board. ...that looks like a nice clean base to start from or do what Joay said and bring her back to her original glory. IMO, I'd go nuts on it and make it your own, but that's just me. These cars mean a lot to me, but I don't (yet) respect them enough to do a 'restoration' on one and keep it bone stock.

edit: I want that rear 'Honda Accord' emblem.

shes pretty tidy mate, i have a few suggestions for you:
-JDM corner lights
-colour code the bumpers, black make the car look like a base model poverty pack edition
-if facelift bumpers were available over there i reckon stick one of those on.

sweet car otherwise maaayyte

Hee, another Dutch member to the forum, we need more, so we can do a decent meet.
Good looking car, and '86 makes it a oldtimer, and that's a bit cheaper in use.
Be gentle with it.

Well, maybe some wheels. Steelies look OK on old Civics, but not so much on this body style.

Just an opinion. You know what they say about those.

It is...

Looked it up in the Dutch car registration database and this one changed owner on 15-05-2010, so most likely Bart is not the owner anymore.
Besides, it hasn't passed the yearly test since November 2010 and has no insurance anymore.

And yeah, it is an A16.. :)
