Just wondering - has anyone got a part number and/or name of the metal panel which holds up the rubber apron behind the front bumper?
It sits underneath the chrome on the front of the car and the apron clicks onto it. Hard to explain but here's a picture of the general area highlighted. I think it bolts on but I've not taken the front apart so I can't get a good picture.

Mine is pretty rusty and if I could get one at a reasonable price it would be of benefit to the car, but I've no idea what it's even called.
Many thanks.

Here is part# and name. Probably a junkyard or possibly an aftermarket body parts place. Good luck.

I have 3 of them new OEM :) They are bolt on, no welding needed.

Great news with them being bolt-on, should be an easy job!
I'll see what Honda UK have to say first - probably "get out of here". But it's nice to know it won't be impossible for me to obtain one. Are they heavy? Just thinking about the possible shipping cost.

Ok ok... the weight.. i can not measure the weight of this part, because i dont have the proper equipment for weight measure, but i can compare with something that i have in handy: A 350cc BEER CAN :)
1-In my right hand i have the part you need, in my left i have my precious beer can, the part is heavier than the beer, next step, lets try with 2 beer cans. :)
2- I have 2 beer cans in my left hand, and the part in the right hand, now the part is WAY lighter than the two beer cans of 350 cc, or 700 cc together.
I hope this measures are usefull for you :)..and now that i have enough cold beer in my hands: This toast is for you :) :D

Knowing that 1 litre of water at 4 degrees celsious is = 1 Kg, and knowing for sure that my beer was VERY cold, we can assume that 350 cc of beer has a mass of = 350 gr, then we know FOR SURE with my special measuring system, that the part is hevier than 350 gr, but WAY lighter than 700 gr, so i can surely get an estimate Honda aprom holder weight at around 580 gr. :D
Here pics of my scientific experiment:

Yep they can get pretty rusty!
And are a pain to weld. Just as well they are mostly unseen.
Would you believe '76-78 they had 3 vent slots in them below the grille/above the rubber, that were deleted from later models !

Nice work! I'll see if the dealer does them (doubtful).
