yeah man i can do any day too but has to be friday-sunday and my car should be at 50% alright first week of march are 5th(friday)
6th(saturday) and 7th sunday those days are good for me second week are from the 12th-14th, 3rd weekis 19th-21st and 4th week is 26th-28th any from those for me since i have work and shit and i cant miss cause i need to finish this car by april or june.
i got vote for the second week of march man and my car should have a fresh paint job an maybe some 16 inch rims too

yeah the meets that I used to hold on here were simple. Meet someplace..eat, take some pics...have a few drinks...and that was that. Thats why i suggest going to some place like K1 Speed or Speed Zone...of course you cant drink there..but there ARE other places to that at. I COULD go to any of these, as long as I get long enough notice to take the day off...

Bad headgasket and tranny. I've been looking around trying to see if I can find a motor with lower miles for cheap, and I have found a couple, but after a couple of weeks of talking, they back out on me. It sucks. Like four people already have said they'll sell it, then nothing. It's been nothing but a waist of time. I've already got another tranny ready to go.

I just talked to a friend who has been there. He said it has a full bar. And he said you would think the drinks would be a rip off, but he said they hook you up pretty good on stiff drinks. So if you are a drinker then it would not be to bad drink wise. Usually corporate places don't pour good drinks. Me myself I don't drink. But thought I would let you guys know.

Hahaha thanks guys. i appriciate the support. had my interview today. Wow, it was a stressfull 2 nights.

i went to look up the directions to the place on yahoo maps and it didnt work.
it said it wasnt an adress.

so i try google maps, same shit.
then panic and try mapquest (which i think is the worst) and again, same thing.

so now its about 11:45pm last night and i am sitting here like shit, i have a 14 page resume/cert./referance packet all made up. new clothes, i am ready to go and yet i dont know ware to go.

so this morning i call back the recruiter who called me the first time. no answer. then i call the number she gave me for the dude thats gonna interview me. i get the 3 tomes of death. you know, sorry, this number has been changed or no longer exists.

i am like WTF!!!!!!!!!!! (this was around 9am btw)

but then outa no ware the message continued and said, the new number for this line is.. and spit out a #

so then i am freaking out cuz now i still have hope i will get through to someone

i call the number and talk to the head recptionist and get directions.

so another 20 odd min. pass as she waits for her assistant to relieve her and then i finally get my interview. i am pretty sure i nailed it but becuase "freddy wasnt there" i wont know till friday.

so now i get to sit here and freak out anxously and wait. but shit it was worth it. i havent had a good lead and interview in a while so i hope this pans out for me.

well i am ready for this meet. havent finished my prelude rear seat conversion but its in as a mock up.

still gotta cut and weld a few things. also, i have a spare front upper strut bar that i am ready to part with. The bar itself is a knock off, run of the mill copy, but the mounts are genuine DC Sports.

i also have a first run carbon fiber hood that is just sitting here, that i bought almost 5 years ago. rocked it for about a year and then i got my coupe and it came off and has been sitting in my parents garage since. It does have some UV damage but it is good if you wanna paint match it to ur car and have it hidden.

I went this morning and picked up a SunRoof Visor.It was just sitting on top a car. It's missing the hardware though. I was going to grab some cheap coilovers off an 86, but they wanted $50 for them, so I passed. There was some PaceSetter Headers too, but they hacked the hell out of them to remove the cat. converter.

I'm going to hit them up again tomarrow, just in case they put some more cars out.

Hey guys, I mat not be able to make it tomarrow, my car is still in the shop.

I tried to have the Trans(that I bought from b20a86lude a while back) installed, but there were some problems with it. He told me it was an A20 Trans, so I bought a new Torque Converter and Axles. When my mechanic went to install it, the TC wouldn't fit. Turns out, the Trans is an A18, NOT A20 Trans. So, I had to buy a new TC and my mechanic is Frankinsteining my Axles to fit. It's been there since Wed. and is costing me almost 3X's as much to get everything done. Hopefully the Trans actually works like b20a86lude sid it would.

If it's done early enough(and there's no other problems with the Trans), I'll try and make it down there.

Sounds like a good cruise. Just came back from doing a turn-around trip from Aliso Viejo to Merced, then back on the same day. My 86 did well except for one thing... the alternator gave out on the last hour of the trip. :/

I'm not a gear head, so it's back at Meineke to have it worked on.

i wouldn't know messy. and the only city's close to downtown are Santa Monica,Glendale, whitter, and west covina that i think are good to stay at...

if you like the beach then santa monica, glendale looks almost similar to LA and not that far away from downtown.

all these are probably like 25-30 mins away downtown depending on traffic.

there are more citys around the area, it all depends where you wanna stay. :)
