Hi evryone, I have a 1987 Honda Accord LX, Carb'd, Auto. Well my problem is that my left headlight ( right headlight works perfectly) will not work with the low beams, it only works when I have the high beams on. And when i goto put in a new fuse it just blows as soon as I turn the headlights on. So if anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank You.

maybe a connection wire to the headlight might be touching the body thats frying the fuse check the wiring for rips or check the socket

nah it aint a noob response cause sometime the bulbs come only in high beam or low beam but if you have the stock ones they are sealed then you cant check them but if you have conversion then yeah and one other thing try replacing the headlight to see if its damage light sometimes can be bright and cause this

Have you checked the wiring harness where the head lights plug into the bulbs? They are bad to wear through the wires or break the wires from the lights movement up and down for 20 plus years. I've seen several repaired in this area.

definitely could be a fried filament or something... my accord both headlamps only the highs came on.i repaced the bulbs and presto......could have been that they hadn't been changed in so long..
