Another VR Problem!!

Any reasons for the car revving to basically WOT at idle after completing stage 1 vac removal

I'm pretty sure everything is done according to the diagram

check your secondary throttle is not slightley open at idle

check your fast idle setting for choke
\what rpm is your "WOT" issue?

i shut it off when it redlines. i'm not sure if the carbed a20 has a rev limiter

but it seems like it would keep going

is your idle diaphragm still installed?

if there is no vacuum to the idle diaphragm it will rev out of control.


The idle diaphragm relies on manifold vacuum... don't connect it to venturi vacuum, also make sure the secondary barrel is not connected to intake manifold vacuum.
