You should take a picture of the light output on a wall or something. Take a picture during the day too.

I had those Ebay Projectors...IM telling you now you dont want to put HIDs on those. Your going to hate it and your going to get alot of flashing from other upcoming traffic. after a good year i started seening water inside the housing and Burning up my hid blub. i replaced em and its not cool spending 50 bucks for a set of Blubs everytime.

SO instead i spend the 60 bucks on hellas and i have a pretty good cutoff. I hated the Ebays for the reason you see on your pic. Looking like you walking into a ice cave. I would keep those for awhile. upgrade to the Autopal or hella E Codes Then get the HIDS.....

Just my o2 cents.

For a little bit better cutoff/light scatter with using Hids, use some Hella or Cibie E codes. They are made for Euro driving and have a different cutoff pattern. Might be a little bit harder to come by, buit cost about the same as regular hellas, and usually have driving lights in the that you can wire up if you want.

Shy, how did you wire those fogs? If you put them in the headlight circuit you're going to eventually have problems with the headlight switch, which is weakest point in the headlight circuit - you don't want to be putting any more watts through the switch than the regular headlights draw. A few years ago, I put in some higher-output bulbs and they seemed fine - I even checked the connectors to the bulbs, which is what I partially melted on an Audi I had - seemed ok. In about a month I lost the headlight switch.

Best thing is to put in a relay that controls the fogs. That's what Honda should have done with the headlights, but they didn't, so all the juice goes through the switch.

dont worry w261 i took them off since i been losing to much power and i had those fogs hooked up to a switch but i couldnt get the wire all the way inside car to put it in the dash so if i wanted to turn them on the switch was right next to the license plate and flipped the switch there and i had it hook up to the battery and a fuse to maintain the power flow so they wont drain the battery since i did it before i fogot to put the fuse on and it drained my old battery die haha and i didnt know how to install them until i read the wiring color and meaning so it took me about 2 hours to put them on.

but cant we add a relay for the headlights?? i seem to have an extra space for the relays since i only have like 3 on there one for the fuel, wipers, and last im guessing its for the windows...

Maybe this is the year I'll get around to putting fogs on my car. If I do, I'm going to put relays in for both the fog and headlamp circuits. Then, maybe, I can up the wattage on the headlight bulbs (have to see how the connectors take it).

I'd really like to put in 4 new little lights in the grill - two fogs and two driving lights.
