Im a newb to the site, but im glad i found it. I couldnt believe there was a site for the 2nd gens. Im from Ohio and have an 85 Accord. Its a A18 Automatic 110 percent stock. Its been garaged for most of its life. It has 164000K on it. The interior is immaculate...almost. It still has the stock (pos) radio. It needs body work, but thats about it. Its been sitting since Summer 08 when the timing belt went. I havent had the time or money to work on it, but couldnt part with it. So i parked it. I recently got an 84 Accord LX donor car. I found it on Craigslist for $200. The guy said it has a good motor, but has been sitting for a year and a half. It got parked because the left rear a-frame rusted through. The underside is just about trash, but the body is better than mine. I plan on pulling the whole motor, tranny, glass, most body parts, and some interior parts. Not many interior parts though, as its become a mouse nest.

The white one is clean, just has some body cancer. But the 84 has good body panels...mostly. And yea, the window visors are going on the 85. :D

I like the white one. It looks just like my old white 84 minus the trunk rack. My 84 came from Utah and the body looked great but it had major underbody cancer which is part of the reason I got rid of it. I miss that car.

good body=crap underside

but i dont think im gonna keep the trunk rack. Its missing some wood trim and the wood that is there is too short or broken
