IIRC the 90-93 seats are a lot flatter than 86-89. So that might be a downgrade, apart from the armrest.

By the way man I have the Valve Cover ready if you still want it. I cold not possibly do white stripes and white letters without making it look like crap though. so they are silver.

depends on the seats... 3g sedan seats are flat as hell but 3g coupe ones are gripy and comfy, but cb7 seats are damn nice too... im happy with mine lol, i donts got an arm rest tho.. and its a ex.. damn 9091

Well of course there better in confort but i dont think any one would want to put bigger pellow seats in a 3g. As it is i hated siding around when i was turning...now with lude seats i adjust the bloasters and i dont even move PLUS it gives the 3g look smooth in the interior. But if he wants a low low style seat then he gots em.

BUT with out pics i cant judge but i can see the outcome already.

i will post pics soon but i ran into a problem....lol well i started work already and ima start school next year so i wont have time to take pics or work on the car...but heres the catch ill take lots of pics as i remove and install my parts in to my car and im short on cash right now so my progress on the car is slow and i still dont have a camera to take pics sorry guys ill be taking mechanics class during the week and weekends and my car will be at the school to work on so i will be doing everything there since they have the tools i will be needing and ima need to look for another car for my daily driver hopefully a white coupe thats either auto or a 5 spd if its an auto ill do a tranny swap step by step

found some prelude seats and will be getting them tomorrow hopefully and get the seats redone and did some removal on the car removed face gauges and fog lights for now and stock gauges look good with painted needles ill take pics of the seats tomorrow

i still have to clean the old one and well the civic i let my sis borrow the and got hit on the freeway by some blue car thats why theres a dent on the passanger side and the paint is chipping from the bumper i think they painted it white cause its black

alright just came back from the junk yard and i found a fucking se-i intact except the asshole took the cup holders and it has the rear brakes ima take them off and the ecu from it and its a auto and i saw some bad ass blue prelude seats in good condition and ima take the ones i have now and exchange them for those and get the dash out oh yeah!!!! oh and i also saw 5 hatchy's some sedans intact i took a pic of a hatch with a broken window and best part was they are all fuel injection :D

just swap the rails that are in the accord seats to the lude seats. you have to drill one hole for the stud to go threw but other then that plug and play

and i switch to shell gas 89 and shit i notice the rpm ilde going up to 1200 and before it was 1000 with the hose for the vac still out! and qiuck response to the gas zero to 45 in 4 secs lol damn might be some fight in this engine. so no more chevron for my car only shell gas. and im going to change my fuel injectors and all four of them to something new not used but will need some opinions on some good injecters. since my injectors are the same old stock ones and and not getting its power back so i know what to change to restore it. of and i have this Falken tire 205/60r/14 just one and on my car and the tire looks mint not showing any signs but looks a bit wider from my stock tires heres a pic

You don't actually need to spend the money on premium gas, it literally doesn't do anything for the engine. You would definitely benefit from buying good gas though. I only get BP since they control their own supply. Not sure what's available to you out there, but as long as the fuel you get is quality stuff, 87 is just fine for an A20.

But do your thing, if it works better with 89 get it.

yeah it is stat1k and joay my car seems to like the fuel it has now since i dont feel any jerks when letting the gas pedal off and that octane booter helped a bit ...and that deep clean system cleaner will come in handy in every oil change and clean up my injectors and restore power and octane booster will regain lost peformance or restore performance and she rides smooth now since i bought that stuff well hopefully when i swap ecu's then i can push my car to its limit and see how fast i can get to 60 mph since i cant pass 4000rpm

yes sir it has to be cause i tested it and i changed the o2 senors and that wasnt it and if i remember when my car was sitting outside when it didnt have tags and rained(car has a leak somewhere) and water got in from somewhere at the bottom.. near the pedals.....its like a rev limiter and it happened when my dumb as friend peeled out at 5000rpm and a week later that light came on and the car wouldnt turn on before i take a vid of it this weekend so i can explain it better in a vid i changed everything that could be causing it and came up with one solution since the o2 senors were not it and i look at the computer and i came on the site looking for code meaning and i turned on the car and waited to see if it gave any flashes and nothing and i reset my ecu and still the same shit i dont know if its a wire to the ecu but just in case ima change the ecu and check wires but i dont think its a wire if its on or car would be acting weird

well see that car doesnt start with out the wire i have on it so as long as that wire is there the car turns on and if i take it off the car just turns over but no start unless it has a bit of gas in the filter haha i have the wire hooked up to the fuel pump fuse and hooked up to the wire on the fuel pump so when i put it in the second position everything turns on and the car will start but without the wire it wont start

the reason that tire is wider is because its a 205 vs the stock 185/195 ... but wider tire = more grip, so try and find another one that size and put them both in the front :p and make sure there balanced as most cheap used tire shops i go to don't balance them


as for engine problem, try a new fuel filter , and make sure the TPS is good.

yup and CAH change the filter and gas pump light came on when fuel pump didnt work so we changed it and nothing...but still got two things to check for me to get it fixed if not im stumped i changed everything has is fuel related and engine related and still have the light on...ima work on it on the weekend and check on the main relay cause i changed a shit load of them (used) from yard and i dont wanna spend 60 bucks if thats not the problem....oh and when we got it up and running with everything working fine without the wire i have on it now the check engine light was on

If your fuel light is staying on, check your fuel meter. It is in the other hole in your tank opposite side of the fuel pump hole. It has a float on it, and when the gas level gets low enough that float trips the gas light on. It works the same way as your brake fluid level float does. It could be bad or stuck and gunked up.

the pump quit and then the fuel light came on? sounds like a ground, there is a ground strap attached to one of the fuel pump hanger bolts, it' easy for it to fall down between the tank and body, if the ground is bad the pump may be trying to ground through the fuel warning light circuit.

it was a wire that was ripped so i taped it until i go solder it at my uncles house and would you know anything about the fuel pump not working when its suppose to?? to be on the 2 position

When turning your key to position II, you will hear the main relay click, and then a second later click again when your check engine light in your dash turns off. So turn off your stereo, close your doors, roll up your windows, turn key to position II and you should hear the obvious two clicks.:cheers:

The two clicks will come from the left corner of your dash by the coin holder, because the main relay is behind there. If you don't here the 2 clicks then I would say there is a problem with the main relay.

And as for you car not going past 4,000 rpm, are you sure the butterfly in the throttle body is opening all the way? And nothing the cable is linked to at the throttle body is touching anything to keep it from opening all the way? i.e a hose etc. ( that is just a shot in the dark).:cheers:

Here is a random throttle body image. In easy terms. When you are stepping on the gas your are opening that butterfly. How far open depends on how far your pedal is down. I explained it in simple terms.

ok um well i think i found the problem to the rpm if im right my wire to the o2 sensor is ripped and my ecu probably gave out since its not blinking any codes

and by any chance would this cause to have this problem??

the green one on the left side on the top of the engine next to the dis. cap ripped.. so i dont know if the o2 sensor would cause it to do this if anyone had this problem you got any pointers or maybe go to the junk yard and get the whole wire. thanks in advance

Well one way to check your ECU is to unplug a sensor like the engine coolant temperature sensor ( the inner one on the thermostat housing closest to the head, it is the white plug). Then try to start it and see if the check engine light comes on and the computer should blink the code for ECT sensor since it is unplugged it should recognize that. At least it is a shot. and fix those wires, O2 sensor wire ripped or broken? If just a worn wire coating and not grounding on anything it may not code, if wire is totally broken it should code. So unplug the ECT sensor and see if it does code, it should. And if your ECU was totally bad your car would not run. I am just seeing if it is recognizing a bad sensor.

the wire is ripped and its too close to the end so i was thinking of pulling one out from the junk yard cause its seems like a 1/8 of wire to the connector and i dont think i would have enough to tape it back up without it coming lose. and i also check the cable and its working fine and butterfly opening all da way i ask my uncle to floor it and the cable didnt show signs of getting stuck so after i check all the wires and connectors i came across a wire that was ripped and i was like no way this is gonna be fixable unless i solder it but i dont think it would be worth the trouble if its ripped from somwhere esle since the wires are old and i cleaned the connectors with a clean rag to take off the dirt around it...and the O2 senors are brand new bosch had them on like a month and 1week already and ill be going to the yard on the 13th of feb to get alot of parts for my car

and as for 02 sensors problems

It wont throw a code right away, normally have to be driving on the highway for a while or driving like a ricer
and it will make your car run hella rich and get shitty mpg,
and since there supposed to be replaced 50k you should just go to kragen or autozone and get some new bosch ones, there $19 each and will improve your mpg!


edit btw how much did the tint cost? i need to get new tint on the accord, mines bubbly purple and half of it has pealed off haha

when to the junk yard yesterday and i got the passenger seat too and i noticed that the seats i have are from 91 prelude and i made it fit perfectly too which was very easy to do. and i installed the HID today so my car is barely at 30% well here are the seats as i took them

well it took me a day to 16 hours to put these puppys in (didnt have the proper tools or it would of been done in 1 hour) had to drill new holes and thats all it needed and a bracket swap is all. and i thank Rendon for telling me what i needed to get and do and these are the results. well thats it for now and i wont be working on the car no more since ive dont the little things that i wanted to do to it...

nothing happens in the headlight conversion its the same as the seal beam just that you can change the bulbs whenever they go out instead of buying the whole lamp again which is a waste of money. the conversion will let you use 9003 or H4(bulbs)<<and these will fit our cars. you cant use the factory wiring for the HID bulb since it has wires attach to it. but it will have connectors for the bulb to put on the factory light socket. there will be no tools required for this just electrical tape is all you need.

heres what you need:

black tape (electrical)

Hella headlamps <(Rallylights.com)thats where i got mine or autopal headlamps<(ebay)<these you can find on ebay or if you want to search

HID Kit (your choice of color)

And Plug and Play hopes this helps you out Charlie if you need a pic of what it would look like let me know. it took us a while to figure where were gonna put it where its not hot or disturbing something under the hood

Heres a tip on the headlight socket:
the one on the top is the low beam

the one on the right is for high beam

and the one on the left is ground

I wouldnt recommend going with 17s because they do look pretty big on our cars. If you want a good sized rim go with a 16" with 205/45/16 tires.

and those coil sleeves arnt coilovers. coilovers are like 450min and thats for a shitty brand. Get a name of the coil sleeves and get a set of shocks.

We changed the fuel pump and filter but ima get walbro fuel pump or whatever you call it and see if that's the problem and I got a shitty vatozone pump which is probably the problem and then I turn to the idle air control which also has me thinking that it may be bad and last the injectors cause its a fuel and air problem but not showing any signs of damage or wear and I have no air leaks oh so I checked

Car was working fine with the short ram intake problems started when my friend peeled out and 3 days after started to have starting problems

took my car to a mechanic today and everything checked out fine but they pointed to the ecu rev limiter and said ima need a new ecu... so guys i need your help to find a ecu for my car and in return ill pay for it and your time and ill toss in my old ecu for someone to work on it or use it for parts. i cant have a nice looking 3g run like shit or i cant have a 3g look like shit and run good. you save me the swap in the mean time to save up more money. thanks guys oh and my car is a 5pd FI door panel says LX?? but lxi is the one im looking for

LOL yeah you could imagine that my car had that problem for a whole year and now bam! passing the 4000rpm like nothing and my car gets the whole 122 hp at 4,550 rpm and will rev up to 6800rpm or 7000rpm < i dont wanna rev it to high since i barely changed some things i shift at 5000 rpm

cause i drive it for a lil bit it drives smooth but after like a minute or 2 it starts to sputter in every gear except when the rpm passes 4000 it feels fine i cant really explain it but i can make a vid

well come to think of it the check engine light came on friday the day i put in another ecu well i gunned it on first to 2nd and i felt that i lost power so after a a couple of stops the light came one and was like shit wat did i fuck up now. so the ecu threw out one code but the next day no ecu code but still have th problem and no i didnt pull out any vacuum lines when checking timing and the ecu came off an 89 lxi coupe with 150k< still a baby,everything was working fine till i did that stupid move at night and regret it. oh i dont know if you notice but i have a fucked up stock exhaust its split open i dont know if its welded or bolt on maybe could off pop off but not sure if thats the problem. but could of seen at least six blinks or i could be wrong.

put the regular ecu back in the car not the same one.

last week i started to smell gas fumes through the vents and from the exhaust sometimes. i have no leaks yet or that i know of.

what could cause this? i know that it ain't burning all the gas but im stumped. wasn't long ago that i gave it a tune up.

x2 on the injectors. Check the connections on the fuel filter too, but mostly injectors.

Ok i checked the injectors and notice a tiny leak where the ring's at. really hard to see it but its there and will replace all 4 of them.

yeah it is stat1k and joay my car seems to like the fuel it has now since i dont feel any jerks when letting the gas pedal off and that octane booter helped a bit ...and that deep clean system cleaner will come in handy in every oil change and clean up my injectors and restore power and octane booster will regain lost peformance or restore performance and she rides smooth now since i bought that stuff well hopefully when i swap ecu's then i can push my car to its limit and see how fast i can get to 60 mph since i cant pass 4000rpm

this time the fuel pump died on me which i wasn't surprised at all. it's only been a year since the last one was replace by being the stock one.

well the pump i bought was from autozone and didnt last me very much. only had it for 14k from 336 close to 350k which isnt alot of miles.

i check the fuse and pass inspection and my solution came up to the fuel pump. and also changed the O2 B sensor since its giving a code(B meaning white one i think) i pulled it out and seemed to be a white grayish color when they mostly turn black? fuel pump doesn't whine when the power is on.

so im gonna go with a better brand and hope it last a lil more than a year if not then im getting a Walbro pump.

Any recommendations for a trusted fuel pump?

Correct! So dizzy? Meaning distributor right? So I would have to change the whole thing? Or the rotor?

So far the fuel pump from autozone failed on me and I also bought a dizzy from there like a couple years ago. Just not having luck with auto zone.... So I bought a Walbro racing pump and fuel pressure regulator. Psi is good no sign or any leaks made sure before installing.

Dude i don't trust any part from auto zone i get them all form the junk yard. Id rather go with something used that's factory then garbage auto zone parts.
run OUT TO THE jY AND GRAB A DISTRIBUTOR AND A FUEL PUMP .

I got a auto zone alternator that goes out every other year .there terrible .trust me man grab a fuel pump from the jy there like 20 bucks

You can tell if its your dizzy if when ur stopped and in 1st gear and you slam on the gas and it bogs out and like pops you know its the dizzy. You don't have to replace the whole distributor just the inside part that spins in the middle but its alot easier to just get a whole one form the Jy sense its like 10 bucks more than getting just the dizzy from autozone

well i changed the lil part inside the cap and spark plug still the same thing.

I made a vid of it but not a good one just so you can see the car run crappy. and plus that my psi dropped down to 20psi when warm? before i started it was at 80 psi and running like a champ. till like a min later it started to act up.

car runs fine at idle without giving it gas but when giving it gas boggs like hell and struggles to speed up.

Yeah dude it sounded like your distributor Its actually called the rotor not the little point on the cap but its the thing that spins inside the distributor . If you was to put it in 1st then slam on the gas and let it bog out you should be able to hear it popping.

Ok so you swapped the distributor.. sweet glad you got her back dont throw the old one away keep it. It only needs a 15 dollar part on it. Now to adjust it just leave the three bolts loose and start it then move it up and down and you will be able to hear it and just adjust it then while its loose and running .Glad you got her back bro . the coupe is still under construction and sadly it is blown i already have the head gasket. Gonna seafoam the car today and gonna see how dirty the motor is.

One question is the brake boost main. Vac line the big hose that connects to the Inatke Manifold so I could pour the seafoam in there?

i changed the IACV if thats right it ilde fine till i went to go drive it. the rpm shot up to 3k rpm and stays there. i dont know what to do with this car anymore haha its one thing after another. it seems that she just dont want to work for me.

im gonna try again in a hour and see what i can do it.

Well im Gonna swap the exhaust from the coupe and bolt it on the sedan since im waiting for the deal at the junkyard to buy parts...that is all:D
