I did this with my preface lift bumper conversion. I got the idea from Bassman. It worked great :D

lol yeah years ago when my car was painted, the stupid ass that painted it, painted over the trim with non trim paint and ruined my trim. after some time the trim started peeling and now its all dry and crappy. thats why its not even on the car anymore. its hard to find coupes at the junkyard with all the trim pieces in good condition otherwise i would have already had some nicely painted trim.

Hmm maybe now that i have my preface lift conversion and no trim on my bumper ill just shave the trim moldings. (the right way) lol
