You're better off with some Napa Gold rotors for the same price, if not cheaper.

I have the Napa Gold rotors. They cost about $25 a piece and I have put close to 30k on them with autox, no problems with them.

well those are power slot brand, and from what i've seen with other places the retail price really is near 100 dollars for a pair... why not for 39 dollars.

doesn't seem like that much of a difference?

I wonder if there's anything stopping me from machining my own brake rotors, out of way better material than cast iron.

Probably nothing. youd have to play with pad composition though

nappa also has brembo's for three gees for about 40 bucks. I went to get the back drum for the 98 and was surprised it was factory brembo. I think I would rather have a solid rotor made by them, they are still made in Italy, and there's a reason that the high end Italian cars use that brand.

stay the fuck away from vatozone ones tho they warp within a couple thousand miles

+1! Been running them with hawk hp+ pads in front for 20k miles, great performance and almost no wear on the rotors.
