There for a 88-91 civic coils an struts both. The back coils are a little short. One I get the final back strut in ill let you know how it sits. But I got them off ebay for 300

don't get me wrong, they do look good, but the problem with the civic fronts is that the strut body is WAY too tall after the perch. You can see it very clearly in that pic of the coil/shock setup installed, where the shock is already (or at least VERY close to) touching the bumpstops.

I really do like that you're trying it out and wanting to get things done for the 3G, but that's just not safe. Yes that goofy 'tophat mod' will buy you another 1-1.5" of travel, but still nowhere near enough to be safe.

Now if that strut body could be cut down and reassembled shorter, or at maybe even easier, the strut perch cut from its current location and rewelded a few inches (like 3+) higher on the body, then it'll be pretty good, but like that I'm sure you'll find while it may look like it'll work and yes ti does bolt together, it just won't work or be safe.

I had the civic coils on my stock struts an the struts wernt bottomed out. Is that what your sayin is that they won't have much travel an bottom out?
