Hi Guys,

As you may have read a few weeks ago, I started having issues with my LXis auto tranny shifting all out of whack. I checked the fluid, and it was at the right level, and it was not burnt.

I parked it for a few days, and now it is doing a lot better.
It still doesn't like to shift when it is cold, and once it is warmed up you have to give it about 1/3 throttle to get it to downshift from 2nd into 1st gear when starting off. I am starting to think it may just be valves sticking. Could a drain and refill resolve the remaining issues?

that sort of sounds like shit in the valve body to me.
you need to have the trans flushed properly and new fluid preferably honda atf or i think castrol tq95 is accepted as an alternative.
also get an inline filter to go in the line to the cooler cause old honda autos have the filter inside the trans and you need to pull it to bit to replace it.

I'd try a flush.

Have you checked your TV cable adjustment?
