Can I drive without it hooked up?

Cause I don't have a belt to replace it right now, and just wondering if it would be save to drive it.

No belt, no problem. It won't have any adverse effect.

Thanks. I was just wanting to make sure before I took her out tomorrow.

got another problem...

I was digging around my engine bay looking for loose, or bad vacuum hoses. and I stumbled onto this.

its a power line running to the A/C pump.

Since I'm not running the A/C pump threw the belt, can I just disconnect this. * I have a feeling this was screwing with my grounding.*

or should I leave it plugged in and just use electrical tape on it.

No ideas as of yet I take it. :P

I would really like to know tonight so I can work on it.

It clips to the side of the fan housing, it just came unhooked. You can disconnect it if you want to. It won't cause any ill effects either way.

I don't think it just came uhooked. *I can see the wire's itself, there is a clip though, but this is just bare open wire.

goes. --Wire with rubber cover--------clip---------wire with rubber cover---------open wire-------wire with rubber...

like a animal tried to chew threw it.

but since its okay..I'm just going to disconnect it.

If there is bare wire, tape it.

I unplugged it, and tapped it up. and the car seems to run better how too....

its kinda odd. Wonder cause it was open if it was messing with the grounding on the car.
