How come when you build a speaker for your home system you put insulation in the box,but you don't see it in sub boxes.

We use polyfill a lot in sealed boxes. It makes smaller boxes feal bigger, so home audio uses it to gain space where they compact it.

1 pound of polyfill = 1 cu.ft. of air space, but it can't be packed in there or the fill looses it's efficiency.

Sub boxes come without insulation as it not preferred because they are not required in sub boxes and if they are placed in sub boxes they cause distortion to the sound and produces Eco effect making sound erratic.

You can't tell the size of the speakers in your 93 accord and you have this info on polyfill, which is what a lot of companies use in their enclosures?

Since when did a refraction cancelling material ever cause echos? (Lol, @ spelling "Eco"...FAIL whale) It's the same reason that egg carton shaped material is used in Anechoic Sound chambers?
