View Full Version : Front Koni McPherson Strut Cartridge for Honda Accord

guys im planing to buy a pair of this Strut Cartridge's. anybody has experience whit this??? i was cheking and it seems that is not to hard to install, only cut the original McPherson strut and insert the cartridge, it sais that is adjustable. any opinion

I've got the Koni's in my car, as does Ichicban. They rock, and they're cheap. Do it! I have a thread with all the pics here in the FAQ or something. Check it out.

thanks man, found the pictures, but one question, the original strut have oil inside, do i need to add oil in the new ones or simply insert the konis, because i see the pictures and i can see that you need to drill a hole in the bottom, that is for the adjust ????

Yeah you just drop in the cartridges. You're basically using the old bodies to keep the spring perches in there. The Koni cartridges will have the oil in them already.
