First of, it looks like I'm going to stick around with Honda for a "replacement", so don't get to sad.
Long story short, my LX auto tranny started having faults and after a few days, the tranny caused the engine to over rev highway speeds. Piston rings and gone, evidence with low cylinder pressure. After 349k miles on original engine and auto tranny, I'm really happy how the car has lived. Couldn't have run any cheaper and save me enough money for a new car 2 years ago.

So I'm parting out the car. Look for it at the Market/Trading Post.

These pics are the last of the car while it's complete.

It always has a car cover when not driving once it lost it space in the garage.

I didnt think this much interest the car was going to generate. Its bad I know, but the car hasnt been washed since the summer of 07'! These are true pictures. As of now, the car is in pieces. Still plenty to work on at getting more parts off. All parts are fair game. I will be working on and posting parts for sale tonight and responding with PMs for those that ask about some of the parts.

It's a shame to see another part of "Old Hondas Anonymous" fading away into the sunset.

Man that was a long time ago! Those night pics were from the state-of-the-art 2.0mp Sony camera! Bulky things if I can remember. I'll see if I can find some nostalgia pics laying around!

They are a rare cars now. Evident from just maybe 2 3rd gens in a junkyard that has a claim of 4,000 cars and trucks in their inventory. 8 years ago here would be at least 20-30 accords.

I been around the forums. Just a lurker of course. Almost every question known has been answered so I just use the search when I needed advise.

I hoping to use the money made and get another Honda that I always wanted, but never had the need since the Accord just wouldn't give up. The car served me well with the original motor and original tranny, It just seems wrong for the transplant. Call me weird.

Another Honda just so I have somewhat of an excuse to hang around here!

No sorry.

Here's one of the first pics I can find of the car and me.
This pic has to be at least 22 years ago, so that means it has another year or so left of factory warranty!
I wonder how it must feel to drive such a new 3rd gen during the Reagan administration.

This one is '99, I have been driving the car for about a year in this pic.
I saved enough money to start transforming it.
