View Full Version : Clear Or Semi Clear Tailights

O please, i am wondering if anyone, ANYONE , knows anyone that knows where i could find, or could make a tailight with red on the bottom and clear on the top, or just all clear, or even all red, i am frantically looking and am too afraid to mess up my pair, im better within the engine, well please help, thanx alot for the info!

well you would have to have the red/clear or all clear tails custom made ...but you could take your stock tails and paint the orange part red so you have the all red tails ....alot of people here do that and it looks sick

JUST GO TO WALMART AND BUY THE TESTORS MODEL CLEAR APPLE RED PAINT AND PAINT UR PAIR OR IF U FEEL LIKE ULL MESS UP TEST IT ON AN OLD TAILIGHT FROM A JUNLYARD OR SOMMEN. RESULTS R NICE AND LET THE LIGHTS GET SUNBURNT! I can make you some tails with the white clear blinkers and red tails without the reflector for a good price.

Well I dunno, whatever the price is of a small sheet of that clear Plexiglass thats not fully clear. The same shit used on our stock tail lights. I'd charge for the price of the supplies and 5 bucks more just for the labor. I wanna make a set for a 89 Coupe.

I made them for a Honda Civic and a VW Jetta. They only cost like 50 bucks, maybe cheaper if I get any of the supplies on Discount.

even a black or dark blue car ..all red tails out look sick ....msi accord you made those tails on the vw? from that distance they look good ...looks like you did a good job... just a question ....why would you make the tails for those cars when there are aftermarket compaines that make them ?

I made them for my Jetta, and why is because it cost way cheaper. And no thats not my Jetta. just so people dont start on me. My Jetta Is almost practicly stock.

:O How in the hell did you pull that off? The ones I'm about to make this guy with a Hatchback will cost me 55 bucks. You got a killer deal cause the supplies to make them cost way more then 35 bucks.

Here are the Semi-Clear tails that I'm gonna make for the Hatchback. They will look nicer cause the backup light will look white practicly and the brake light will be brand new. so they will look like brand new tail lights. LOL Thats What They Will Be!!!

These are actualy for the Aerodeck, but since I dont have a picture of the Semi-Clears for the HB and the AD's tails look alot alike, I used that pic.

here too but i'm using red l.e.d. bulbs and at day and night tey look stock w/ the red and blue signals

Umm, well first question, are all clears legal in your state? Cause in most states its only legal to have Clear or Amber blinkers with red Brake Lights and Clear reverse lights. I'm more into the Semi Clears like the ones I just posted. The Hatchback Semi Clears and Aerodecks, Yes I can make them for you.

I will give you credit they look pretty good. Thats what i want for my coupe but it must be flawless or close to it.....The pics though look odd because it matches the factory plastic almost to well (reflector/line on outer side)?

Damit now i'm not satsified with my all red tails anymore. I want semi-clear tails. Around here people get pulled over a lot for illegal lights. The semi-clears are legal I think.

I got a ? can the 90 accord tails fit on the 89 they knida look the same i dont think it will but a friend of mine was saying they look really similar I dont think they will and my car is in the shop so could someone see for me I would really be grateful. If its a stupid question sorry for wasting space

I doubt it but not sure, I know 86-89 hatch tails will interchange, but not sure about the sedan or coupe

sedan and coupe lights are not interchangable at all.

man i like that idea of the clear on top red on bottom tails..i think they would look good..if ur thinking about starting to make afew i would be interested in purchasing a pair
