Okay I'm thinking about selling my car and I dont know what my car is worth. I was wondering how much you think it is worth? It is an 88 lx with 134xxx miles on it runs well and not alot of rust. Interrior in perfect shape. How much do you think i could sell it for?

relatively low k's, some rust.. and is an lx.. if its a good runner i'd probably place it around 1500-2000ish... depending on tires and does it need anything else.

Tires are practically brand new. And no, it dosent need anything else. I put a new radio in with new speakers all around too.

I'd expect a realistic $1200 on the high side with $800 being closer to an actual settling point. These cars aren't worth crap. My opinion is to drive it into the ground and just scrap it. If you maintain it well, it will last you another 10 years.

Someone that knows these cars will not pay as much for a non-fuel injected version. OTOH, if the tires are good, the interior is good, and it runs with no problems, someone that just wants a good reliable driver and is not knowledgeable about 3G's might go around $1,000.

Bring it to Washington and sell it. I see them go every day for ridiculous prices.

Yeah, if it were EFI, I'd estimate it at between $1500 and $1800. No one wants to maintain these carbs, even mechanics. If you do find a mechanic that will work on them, they're going to charge you a premium.

If the Firebird is black and has a red moving light in front, it's definately FTW! ;) :D

R @ loves the looks of old American cars.

Hah the Firebird is actually an old police car.. It was the D.A.R.E. Car.. it has a Jasper 305 with a performance cam. it looks like a race car almost because it has numbers and stickers on the sides
