What are the typical oil leak areas

I finally found time to go through my "new" '77 Accord today.

The car has a pretty serious oil leak. The front part of the engine is black with old oil.

Other than a leak from the valve cover gasket (which I will be changing), what is the likelihood of leaks from the distributor housing where it meets up with the head?

between the dizzy and the head is a common one, on old worn motors oil comes out between the head and the block

Ive seen a common area to be the crank seals.Is it running?
