Hi guys!

So yesterday I got my webers.
They were on a Volks Jetta 2l 16v. They need a little cleanup but they still look good.

Now I need to remove the intake manifold and add the new one(still waiting it).
But my question came here. On this manifold, the linkage to open the throttle was on it. The new Manifold don't have any linkage.
I ordered my manifold at the same place as Mark here. But I have not find any picture of his final setup.

So, Could you guys, tell me wich linkage are you using on your DCOE/M to make it work? and as for the choke, what have you done?

Slowly, I am starting back to work on my 86 hatch WOOHOO :p :thumbup:

I know that piercemanifolds.com has a dual weber linkage that will work for you. And buy the way just outa curiosity what are you going to do with that VW 16 valve manifold :D?

as soon as I received the new one, It will be for sale. I have no use for a VW manifold.
I buy it with the first Idea of keeping the weber flange to weld it on OEM honda manifold. But then I found the other one with the help of Mark here.

Mark is very helpful. Well atleast he was to me and he mite have a better place to get the linkage from sence i know he has his car running so you could also PM hie for more imfo also. And let me know bout the vw mani.

Nice carbs.

For the throttle linkage, you can cabricate something that will bolt to the flange studs.

4 degrees?

is the angle's wrong?

A20 has 15* tilt, so if the carb has 5* of play you need at least 10* downward tilt on the manifold.

wait you have the B20 :)
Does the B20 tilt different?

well the manifold is made for A20Ax engine with the correct angle.
This is the same manifold that Mark is using.
So it will be the same for the B20A

Now that I look at it the manifold has the angle built into both the flanges... I guess the carb side is 4 degrees and the head side 8 degrees?

Visually measuring the total degrees in Adobe Illustrator I get about 11 degrees.

So everything's fine. :D
