Saw this on another forum and since we don't have one, I thought this would be a great spot to hear everyone's reviews of the tires they've purchased.

I'll start

Tire: Falken Ziex ZETire 912
Type: All-season performance
Size: 215/50-15
Car: 2006 Toyota Matrix
Where bought: Sears
Price paid (incl shipping/tax): $480
Miles driven on tires: ~1500
Driving conditions: Dry pavement, wet pavement, snow
Driving style: Normal
Tread wear / warranty: 40,000
Would you buy again: Probably not, unless I somehow moved to where there wasn't snow
Positives: Wet traction, seems quiet
Negatives: Snow traction is horrible
Notes: Tires are fine, except they are a liability when there's more than two inches of snow on the ground.

We should put tire size in too, that's a HUGE factor in price.

Tire: Bridgestone Potenza RE-11
Type: Extreme Performance Summer Tire
Size: 205/50-R15
Car: 1992 Mazda Miata
Where bought: Firestone
Price paid (incl shipping/tax): $110/ea
Miles driven on tires: 2000
Driving conditions: Dry & Wet Pavement... been through 15 autocross runs (3 sessions) and street
Driving style: AX/Aggressive Street
Tread wear / warranty: 180UTQG / No Warranty
Would you buy again: Hell yes!
Positives: Sticky as fuck, you can drive them to the scariest limits you can imagine and they will hold. Killer wet traction. Amazing feedback.
Negatives: Not very squealy, you're going a LOT faster before they break loose, a little slippery when super cold, but no worse than a crappy all season.
Notes: Epic tires, takes minimal driving to warm them up to reasonable driving temps.

Tire: Toyo Spectrum Touring Radials
Type: Economy Tire (Passenger)
Size: 195/60R14 85T
Car: '89 Accord
Where bought: Les Schwab
Price paid (incl shipping/tax): $66 (for all four)
Miles driven on tires: 15k
Driving conditions: All: good/poor wet/dry pavement, rain, snow, dirt, mud, sand (especially rain)
Driving style: Hard ("Aggressive Street")
Tread wear / warranty: Minimal (still 95%) / lifetime warranty
Would you buy again: Absolutely not.
Positives: Extremely cheap; good temporary wheels.
Negatives: Zero traction unless you're on dry pavement and it's 85°+ out. They can't hold a corner very well.
Notes: I've locked them up many times in many conditions. They've made me afraid of driving close behind someone, but I still do. They have a cool tread pattern. Discontinued, I believe.
