How much do you think I should pay for a new engine for our cars?????? Also, could I put a better engine there with not many mods done to it? Trying to save some $$ if you know what i mean. What's the best thing to do?

Depends On Which engine you want!! Try this link!!! Prices might seem a bit high!! But I would reccommend chosing an engine first!! do a lil research and go to a auto performance shop in ur area!! The price should be a couple bucks less!!! JDM HONDA ENGINES (http://www.jdmhondaparts.com/engines.htm)

Coroncho80, I put a JDM A20 in my other accord it was $495+$250 for home delivery (cheaper for delivery to a business like you mechanic). I did do a full rebuild on it but it was actually in really good shape but i needed a reliable car so i bought all new honda parts and ACT clutch totaling and extra $1300 in parts but that was from new altenator, oil pump, all new gaskets and such. Plus labor if you dont do it yourself......It runs good its in my spare car i do need a new tranny(used my original one) and i need to adjust the valves soon but its been fine.

I spent $1600 on my new engine(A20A3) with a 5yr/100,000 mi warranty. Shipping(to and from) included in the price from powerpro. I did the swap myself becuase i trust NO ONE with my shit. I finished 2 weeks ago and have 1000 miles on the new engine and have done my first oil change. The engine feels like it has a little more HP than the stock due to the better compression and being bored over for general rebuild use. I would have done a rebuild if i had time but the parts are hard to find and i didnt want to worry if i did things correctly being i have never done a rebuild. If u want check out some photos of my swap Here (http://www.angelfire.com/super2/mikefxu/) and the website where my i got my engine Here (http://www.powerpro2000.com/lb_honda.htm) their engines have all new components beside the block, head and crankshaft. Cant wait, my next project 92 Civic (CX or VX) with a H22A swap those run in the 12/13 stock and eventually turbo the biatch.
