I'm gonna be trying a carb to FI swap this summeron my 89 LX. I have the following but they are from an 86.

-Intake Manifold w/cleaned injectors w/new grommets
-Engine harness
-Vacume Box with all vacume lines labeled (including hard lines)
-Dizzy
-Ignition Coil
-ECU w/ plugs
-Fuel Pump
-Gauge Cluster
-Engine Bay Fuse Box

Now, I know I'm gonna want an 88-89 intake manifold with injectors because it creates more power than the single stage 86-87. But will the 86 ECU and engine/dash harnesses and everything work with the 89 intake mani? I think I'm about 50% the way there in terms of parts (biggies now are fuel tank and fuel lines, thermostat, and harnesses and alternator) but I'm hoping that the stuff I have already isn't completely useless now.

Your going to need 88-89 would be easier and don't need the 86 ecu harness need a 88 89 ecu and your using the same engine or getting an a20a3?

Using my carbed engine. After reviewing the conversion, I'm thinking I may be better off just buying the Innovative mounts because it seems then all I need to do is add the fuel line and swap the gas tank and fuel pump, and the rest will come with the new engine. =/

So I guess you guys will see some 86-87 fuel injected parts for sale soon! lol
