Need help with carb 89 accord

First time poster here, i just got a 89 accord lx and ive been doing alot of work to it i have a couple of questions, first is my carb seems to only be getting fuel in one barrel it has a strong gas smell when it runs and it stalls if i dont feather the gas. theres a linkage right below the choke on the left of the carb i think its disconected but im not sure, id post pics but i cant yet. any help is apreciated thanks

Thanks for the reply, gonna go check that now and see if thats the case.

i checked both venturi's and they are solid tight on there, ive replaced the choke control because before this it used to idle at around 2500rpm not sure what else it could be atm. edit: i found 2 vacuum lines that are plugged up and are just sitting there next to the carb a schematic says ones for the air bleed valve but theres already lines hooked up to that.
