ive paid 300-400 and 500 for a 3g

lx was 300 another lx was 400 and my current hatch was 500
all of them were great cars for a couple years

but then it was time to replace some things seeing as he already replace most of with i had to do
you should be good

as a matter of fact if it looks good and drives fine i wouldn't hesitate to buy it

If it runs and it'll pass inspection, it's worth $300. If it runs and the body is rotted beyond repair, the PGM-FI and manual swap for you LX is still worth $300.

I merged these two threads together, since they not only were on the same topic, but had the same title.

With a car that cheap make sure the registration is current, if it is not be sure to check on the fees. I just bought mine barely running for $300, and the past due fees to reg will be $170. I found others that ran well for $400-$500, but they had not been registered for so long that the fees were in the $300 range, which would have put them way out of my initial budget.

Any car that runs and drives is worth $300.

That being said, I've sold cars that needed very little to run and drive for $50. I was given another car that drove home, it only needed a battery to run.

I paid 1200$ for my 88, and its an automatic, carburated, and had 230k miles when I bought it...

I wish mine was 300, or even 500..

'89 LX-i coupe, 170k - $900 (one owner, no problems)
'89 LX-i coupe, 260k - $300 (needed a main relay to run, pretty straight)
'88 LX-i coupe, 170k - $500 (runs excellent, ugly)

I've had fucking great deals on five-speed fuel-injected coupes. :D
