It's down under the thermostat housing and under the distributor. I think it's the one that screws into the head. It's tiny and only has one wire going to it.

im going to try that one, because a few days ago i went to the mechanic and he disconect one cable from behind the motor and the temperature needle went up all the way and he told me to buy a needle sensor.

Sounds like your mechanic is an idiot. Find the wire from the sending unit, plug it back into the single prong at the end of the cylinder head, and enjoy a temperature gauge again.

i found the temperature sensor, is behind the motor down the carburetor, is hard to change it, im goin to try from down the car because i only put my hand to disconect the cable but to use tools the space is reduced.

im going to post some pictures later in case that some one gets in the same problem.

finaly i change the temperature sensor, it was a pain in the ass, i only found one fron 86 to 89 accord, but i have a little problem, in the morning going to work the temperature got almost to the max, at the moment i check the fans and they work ok, check the water level an it ok. the thing that im goin to do today is clean up the radiator and add new antifreeze

By the way, anyone know of a good (and affordable) temp sensor that can provide a guaged reading for this setup? I hate looking at the guage 3/4 up and forcing myself to think "oh that's nothing to worry about." If so, how would you install one of those deals?

fix the overheating, clean up the radiator and add preston coolant and working fine, the most temperature i got is to half and then the fans begin to work.
