sup fellas, i know there are a few ppl on here who have successfully completed a h22 swap. I got the basics on the swap i just a lil more info on completing the swap, any useful info is much appreciated.

sorry about that, i guess being precise would help. I need to know wiring to the ecu. Rywire is taking care of engine harness. Also will an obd0 to obd1 ecu jumper harness work with 89 lxi? I only see them listed for civic or crx.

The ECU is the least of your worries. It's just like plugging in a new radio.

Once you get to actually bolt the engine in the car with it's axles, exhaust and shifter, you know it's almost done.

use eg swap axles... custom mounts.. get the axles first before mounting the engine so you can line everything up then start on the mounts. you will most likely have to cut/weld the driver-side mount bracket to make room for the larger one/relocation.

oh lord i hope you haven't paid rywire, last time they did a harness for a 3g it was a fucking nightmare.

i did a aem race computer but the clutch they sell a hydro-cable piece. I may have it forsale if u r interested. The linkage isn't to bad to do. U want the metal shift plate not the plastic one. Any other question give me a call cel-203-430-3394

Im not great when it comes to wiring so i figured he's probaly my best option. thanks for all the info fellas i really appreciate it. i follow everything you guys say about 3rd gens like its my bible.:bow: still need a few things to finish up but it will happen. this is not an empty threat like ive seen or heard.:thumbup:
