Usually, excessive white smoke can be the result of a blown headgasket.

Is the car overheating? Cold weather will produce nice amounts of white smoke too for perfectly normal working engines.

When does it produce this smoke?

Is it when driving then slowing down, then accelerating again smoke happens?

could be bad piston rings/seals. is it white or light grey? does it smell like a 2 stroke engine? you could be burning oil

burning oil will produce slight bluish smoke.

Open your radiator cap and look for foam, and try your dip stick, if oil is clear then its not sure you have head gasket problem.
