will a fuel injected trans bolt up 2 a carb motor? is there any acura trans that will bolt up?
my 5 spd is shot and i cant find another trans any where

The only difference between carbed and EFI transmissions is the gear rations, otherwise they fit. 85-87 Preludes that are EFI have the A20 engine so their transmissions should fit too. Dunno about acura trans. and most likely none of them fit an A20

i have a DX trans for the fact im boosted. BUt yup all years fit as in 86-89 trans off a accord. YOU get use a LUDE tranny off a 85-86 that have the a20. they have a short gear but YOU would need to run a smaller the 1.8 clutch a bit smaller

If you have a teg tranny you can just swap your bell housing to the teg one and waaala you have a hybrid. (first 1g teg)

This is False, you can run the a20 clutch. I have been and have no problems.

well you got lucky my friend. I didnt get so lucky. I had to change clutchs. So no false info. Ludes have 1.8 there for needs a smaller clutch. they have the 2.0 and some have the 1.8 a series.

yes the a18 was carb and the a20 was fuel injected... the only diff of the lude tranny is that 4th and 5th gear are shorter
