Trunk Release/Gas Release

Neither the Chilton manual or the factory service manual say anything about this... I know, noobish question, but this is the only thing out of my whole interior I can't figure out. How do you take off the handles? I have the unit itself unbolted and the plastic is unscrewed from the metal part.

The plastic just pull off the metal arms,and the cables just slide in place.

They might be a bitch, but they'll come off without breaking.

yup, might have to use a scredriver or somethin to wedge them out tho...

Pull them straight forward, towards the dead pedal.
