1/3 in threw the brake booster line
1/3 in gas when empty then go fill up
1/3 in oil when doing oil change put seafoam in the motor with the old oil and turn on the car run it for a lil then do an oil change but if your not doing an oil change dont put the seafoam in the oil it will mess up ur motor if you leave it in there

any vac line into the manifold will do if for some reason you cant or dont want to go thru the booster line

If your engine has a tremendous amount of the above seafoam will help. If your engine is pretty free of carbon deposits ('free' being a term I'm using loosely).. then it won't make much difference.

How did it ruin the carbs? Melted gaskets?

Seems to idle smoother and respond a little better on the drive to work this morning, mines fuel injected though

My carb'd accord I just take and drop like half into the gas and then do half into the barrels of the carb slowly so it doesn't stall. Same thing as running it through the booster line isn't it?

Also I was told my a friend with an old like 86 RX-7, he used to just take a bottle of water and pour it into the carb, for a nice steam clean with no chemicals.

okayyy so I finally seafoamed my accord and man was it a storm of smoke!!!! I was also having start up problems where I had to put the gas pedal to the floor in order to start it! after seafoam it starts right up after 2 pumps of the gas.... also did an oil change and radiator flush... next I was wondering what spark plugs should I use???

If your having compression problems i think the last thing you should do is clean the carbon deposits in your engine.

Because your likely to blow away carbon that is holding your motor together at this point.

LOL i dont know if the compression is THAT bad, my civic was 120, 90 , 80, 90 or something like that and smoked like a bitch and the accord doesnt really smoke (except colddd starts or if i left it setting long) so i dont know how bad the compression is ( dont have access to a tester ><) but yeah, shes got blow by but she also has a blocked off pcv system and close 300k miles lol

maybe i should rent a tester :D
