Hello Everybody I've Been Looking At This Forum For A While But Now I Have A Question, Well I Have A OBDO B20B Block w/ A B16A Head From A DA I Had And Now I Plan To Do The Swap On My 3Gee (A.k.a The Bucket:tongue:) And Now Im Just Waiting For A Job (Going Job Hunting Tommorow) For The Funding, I Have Been Researching Cars And Car Parts For A While Now And I Feel Like It Will Be A Fun Project This Summer, I Have Had This Car Since I Was 14 Now Im 18 (In August) And Really Look Forward To This Project But I Took Apart My Block And Head To Reach My Goal Of 270 Horsepower:thumbup: But I Found Cracks By The Bottom Of My Cylinders:ugh: And Im Not To Sure If Its A Good Thing

These are casting marks, not cracks.

Wait Casting Marks Being The "1-1"
If So Im Worried About What Is Around That

the circular shaped marks just below the 1-1? If so, your fine. Casting marks.

I think he means the oil covered ridges around the 1-1, first cylinder in the picture.

Then again, you guys may be referring to the same thing anyway.

The B20A block is aluminum right?
Because those look precisely like aluminum casting marks

except that's not a b20a unless he did some uber fab work to get it in his DA INTEGRA....:uh:
